Job summary

Gildan is seeking a hands-on warehouse associate to remove cartons from the special order belt, sort by customer on wooden pallets, and wrap pallets for shipment. You will use a pallet jack to move pallets to staging areas and help with general housekeeping and safety compliance.

Position Overview (Briefly describe primary purpose of position. No more than 2-3 sentences.)

Remove cartons from the special order handling belt and sort on wooden pallets by customer. Wrap full pallets with plastic wrap then utilizing a pallet jack move pallets to the designated staging area.

Essential Functions

• Obtain pallet jack and wooden pallet
• Monitor the special order handling belt for cartons
• Remove cartons from the belt and place on wooden pallets by customer
• Cut tape and breakdown boxes as needed; Stack on pallet; wear approved cutting gloves
• Secure full pallets with plastic wrap
• Move secured pallet to designated staging area and obtain another empty pallet
• Perform general housekeeping duties in work area during and at the end of shift
• Perform any additional duties as specified by supervisor.
