Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Entry-level position with on-the-job training.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and frequent lifting of 25 pounds.
• Knowledge of safety procedures for material handling.

Responsibilities

• Physically handles materials to optimize movement; lifts, carries, stacks items.
• Operates motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment.
• Responds to training from foreman or senior handlers to improve processes.
• Follow safety procedures and attend safety meetings; may suggest safety improvements.
• Other duties as assigned.
