Overview

A freestanding ER in Longview, TX is seeking a Materials Handler/Warehouse Technician to join their team. The Materials Handler/Warehouse Technician will strive to provide proficient, competent care while ensuring accurate results.

Responsibilities for the Materials Handler/Warehouse Technician

1. Performing a variety of tasks to ensure incoming orders are logged into the inventory system and stocked in the appropriate location.
2. Transporting supplies to and from the off‑site warehouse.
3. Communicating to supervisor when inventory falls below designated par levels.
4. Unloading and putting away inventory and delivering freight when it arrives.
5. Filling orders from the Facilities as requested.
6. Transporting materials to other HHER facilities as needed.
7. Utilizing the digital inventory system anytime supplies are used or moved.
8. Maintaining proper rotation of stock by pull and stock lines.
9. Communicating to the supervisor as levels of use change to ensure proper stock for the ER’s.
10. Communicating with the supervisor when equipment or systems are not working properly or of any safety hazards.
11. Maintaining effective communication with management, dispatchers, and other employees to ensure the highest level of operational performance.

• Demonstrated competency of Physical Assessment within 90 days, as evaluated by Supervisor.
• Must be over the age of 18.
• To move quickly but effectively to meet needs.
• Clean criminal and driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, speak, and write in the English language.
• Valid Driver’s License.
