Job summary

Penn State Health is seeking a Materials Handler in Supply Chain Operations to maintain the daily material flow from receipt through storage to distribution, ensuring materials move efficiently within the hospital supply chain.

You will safely operate equipment and vehicles to handle deliveries and use the ERP system to record locations and verify inventory accuracy, collaborating with teams to support uninterrupted patient care.

Qualifications

• Two years of logistics/warehouse experience focused on inventory accuracy.
• Experience using ERP systems to track materials.

Materials Handler - Supply Chain Operations

Responsible for maintaining the daily material flow of hospital supplies through incoming receipt, loading docks, delivery trucks, and storage areas. This role safely uses proper equipment to drive and deliver specified materials/products. It is responsible for identifying and labeling materials and recording their locations in the warehouse/ERP to maintain accurate inventory levels.

• Safely operate equipment and vehicles to move materials and deliveries.
• Identify, label, and locate materials and record locations in the ERP system to ensure inventory accuracy.

Minimum Qualification(s)

• Two (2) years of demonstrated high performance within a logistics, materials, or warehouse setting focused on quality and inventory accuracy.
