Job summary

Coherent Corp. in California is seeking an Warehouse Associate to support shipping, receiving and warehousing operations.

You will handle, distribute and transfer material to maintain efficient material flow through the factory, and perform manual administrative duties in receiving, packing, shipping and warehousing. The role requires 2–3 years of related experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to read specifications, maintain records and operate basic measurement equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications, maintain records, and use material measurement equipment.
• Two to three years of experience in a related shipping, receiving, stockroom, or warehouse environment.
• Experience handling customs issues associated with international shipments is a plus.
• Experience packaging material shipments and preparing appropriate paperwork is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handles, distributes, and transfers material for efficient flow.
• Performs manual and routine administrative duties in receiving, packing, shipping, and warehousing.
• Physically transfers material using forklifts, dollies, pallet handlers, and hand trucks.
• Serves as an active team member to ensure efficient shipping/receiving operations.
