Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking a Materials Handler to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient movement, storage, and distribution of materials across the facility. You will support production and shipping by maintaining inventory accuracy and handling materials with care using SAP systems.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office and SAP/MRP processes. ITAR compliance and U.S. Person status are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing setting.
• 3+ years inventory control experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• ITAR compliance and U.S. Person status required.

Responsibilities

• Receive material into SAP from receipt to receiving inspection and storage; issue manufacturing/WIP while maintaining traceability of all materials.
• Use SAP/Excel to complete required transactions and movements in the MRP system.
• Receive and inspect inbound materials; verify against purchase orders, packing slips, and receiving documents.
• Store materials in designated locations following inventory control procedures; interface with engineering, production, and purchasing to coordinate material movements.
• Ensure adherence to documented procedures for inventory and material handling; support production schedules and resolve material shortages.
• Assist with kit pulls, returns to vendors, and shipping of materials (including hazardous shipping); participate in cycle counts and improve material flow.
