Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland is seeking an Inventory Clerk to receive, verify, stage and deliver supplies entering the facility, ensuring efficient stock handling and accurate storage.

Responsibilities include picking, staging and delivering stock orders, preparing supplies for delivery, and responding to requests. Qualifications include a HS diploma or equivalency, detail orientation, strong customer service and basic computer skills. Shift: Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm, alternating holidays.

Location: METROHEALTH MEDICAL CENTER

Biweekly Hours: 80.00

Shift: Monday - Friday 7am-3:30pm, alternating holidays

Summary:

Receives, verify, stage and delivers supplies entering the facility in an effective and efficient manner. Accurately stores stock items in the proper locations and prepares all supplies for delivery. Picks, stages, and delivers stock orders accurately and neatly. Responding to requests for needed supplies and return of goods

Qualifications:

Required:

• HS Diploma or passage of a high school equivalency exam.
• Must be proficient in the operation/care of equipment normally associated with the department.
• Ability to perform detail-oriented tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
• Demonstrated skills in customer service.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Basic understanding of computer systems.
• Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Preferred:

• Experience with the Lawson Inventory System, or other inventory system(s).

Physical Requirements: May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and walk throughout the day. May need to sit or stand for extended periods of time. See in the normal visual range with or without correction. Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction. Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required. May need to lift up to fifty (50) pounds. Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications. Ability to see computer monitor and read departmental documents.
