Job summary

Key tasks include locating and delivering materials, documenting quantities, operating forklifts and pallet jacks, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment while supporting continuous process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with expediting jobs by moving materials to the correct operation.
• Maintain organized shop floor by managing the staging area.
• Ensure effective communication between planners, buyers, assembly, and warehouse.
• Identify and implement process flow improvements.
• Locate materials by verifying items listed on production travelers.
• Deliver materials to next operations.
• Document material receipts and verify quantity and quality.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment.
• Ensure parts for upcoming shipments are staged and photographed.
• Advise planners and assist with pulls from inventory.
• Report safety hazards and help implement new standards.
• Perform duties safely and keep area clean.
• Other duties as assigned.
