Job summary

Emerson is seeking a reliable Material Handler to support production by moving materials, loading/unloading goods, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. You will inspect equipment, follow lean and 5S initiatives, and assist with quality checks as part of a dynamic manufacturing team.

The role requires lifting up to 35 pounds, operating a powered industrial truck, and working in varying temperatures while contributing to efficiency and safety across the facility.

Qualifications

• Ability to frequently lift up to 35 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Operate powered industrial trucks and move materials safely.
• Maintain clean, safe, environmentally friendly workspace.
• Follow lean and 5S initiatives and maintain equipment.

Responsibilities

• Move materials to subsequent operations per shop routing.
• Load and unload trucks and move goods around the facility.
• Move raw materials to machines and ensure correct storage bays.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and battery recharges.
• Inspect products for conformance to quality standards.
