Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company is seeking a Raw Material Handler to receive, inspect, store and distribute raw materials to support manufacturing. This role emphasizes inventory accuracy, quality control, and timely material availability for production.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of warehouse/material handling experience.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Knowledge of inventory management principles preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly.
• Capable of working flexible shifts including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming raw materials, supplies, and components from suppliers or delivery trucks; inspect for accuracy, quality, and quantity.
• Record and label received materials with lot numbers and expiration dates; organize inventory and conduct cycle counts.
• Safely store materials, rotate stock, and maintain a clean warehouse environment.
• Prepare and package materials for production; deliver to lines promptly using forklifts or pallet jacks.
• Inspect materials for damage or non-conformities and document results in QM system; report issues.
• Maintain records of inventory transactions and generate reports on levels and usage.
• Follow safety protocols and comply with environmental regulations; report hazards promptly.
