Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler to fulfill customer orders by retrieving and stacking product across the warehouse, building stable pallets, and ensuring safety, accuracy and efficiency on every shift.

Duties include moving pallets with a pallet jack, transporting loads via PIT, maintaining clean work areas, completing daily PIT checklists, and correcting discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safety procedures in a warehouse.
• PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) certification: Pallet Jack required.
• Able to lift and move pallets in a fast-paced setting.
• Noisy, non-temperature-controlled environment.
• Up to 12 months of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Retrieves and places quantities of cases of product onto pallets safely.
• Travels to and transports pallets using a PIT pallet jack.
• Assists in warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping.
• Performs daily PIT checklist and reports issues.
• Corrects mistakes as directed by the checker.
• Performs miscellaneous duties to support warehouse operations.
