Job summary

Senior Bird Bellows, based in Congleton, Cheshire, is seeking a reliable Material Handler to manage receipt, storage, and issue of raw materials in the Raw Materials Warehouse. You will help maintain accurate counts, support QA, and ensure safe, orderly warehouse operations.

Ideal candidates have manufacturing experience, a solid understanding of health and safety practices, and a full clean driving licence. The role is Monday–Friday, 40 hours, with potential overtime and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Health and safety knowledge.
• Full clean driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Receives incoming raw materials.
• Ensures inventory accuracy of count, location, and lot control.
• Eliminates write-offs due to loss, damage, and discrepant counts.
• Operates forklifts.
• Supports Quality Assurance functions in the warehouse.
• Maintains warehouse function and appearance.
• Follows all safety guidelines established by the company, including proper use of safety equipment and relevant safety procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
