A leading company seeks a manufacturing technician responsible for aseptic handling of medical waste and operating processing equipment. The position requires a high school diploma and the ability to lift at least 45 lbs. Ideal candidates will demonstrate attention to detail and effective communication skills while maintaining cleanliness in the manufacturing area.
Shift C in MMT. 4:15pm-4:30AM Sun-Tue w/ alternating Wednesdays.
15% shift differential.
The manufacturing technician is responsible for the aseptic handling and removal of medical waste, manufacturing waste, and biohazardous waste. Incumbents should be trained in aseptic techniques when working with biohazardous materials. Responsibilities include maintaining raw materials on-site, ordering, receiving, staging, and storing production supplies from warehouse and vendors. Conducting cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy, maintaining frozen tissue inventory and transfers, and executing the Ebeam Out process are also key duties.
The role involves operating processing equipment such as SealTest Equipment, Band Knife Grinding machine, lifting equipment, and pallet jacks. The technician must be able to lift at least 45 lbs, store and maintain human tissue in -80°C freezers, and follow instructions from supervisors daily. Demonstrating steady progress, willingness to learn all equipment and tasks, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitization of the manufacturing area are essential.
