Job summary

UW Medical Center Northwest is seeking a Materials Handling Aide 2 (Temporary, Per Diem) to support the supply chain team in Seattle. You will put away supplies, scan inventory, pick items with Zebra handheld devices and monitor expiration dates according to policy.

The role includes delivering supplies, processing Workday transactions, and handling customer inquiries as needed. The position is a fixed duration appointment of approximately 12 months with per diem shifts and variable schedules.

Qualifications

• High school graduation.
• 6 months of supply chain experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver supplies and packages to nursing units, clinics and other locations using signature technologies.
• Use Workday for issues and credits and ensure proper allocation of item costs.
• Operate handhelds, package scanners and related software.
• Manage rental equipment including charging and ordering as needed.
• Answer calls and emails and respond to customer service requests.
