Job summary

Chenega Professional Services Strategic Business Unit is seeking a Materials Handler I to work in a fast-paced warehouse setting. The candidate will receive daily workload assignments and assist with movement, packing, wrapping, inventory, and transport of household or commercial goods in a collaborative team.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, securing items, assembling crates, and following safety guidelines while maintaining government-furnished equipment and warehouse integrity.

Qualifications

• At least one year of verifiable experience in transportation or commercial moving.
• Forklift certification required.
• Must communicate clearly with crew, clients, and laborers.
• Must pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug test.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a PUBLIC TRUST clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with moving, packing, wrapping, inventory and storage of household or commercial goods.
• Wrap, pack, load and unload, securing fragile items during moving.
• Receive household effects from transportation providers and unload from trucks.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and maintain warehouse facility.
• Operate and maintain equipment and assist with vehicle movement inside the warehouse.
