Job summary

Lancesoft is seeking a warehouse associate in West Sacramento for a short-term engagement. Responsibilities include moving materials, picking for shipments, and maintaining inventory and packing records. The role requires basic math skills, reliable communication, and the ability to operate forklifts and hand trucks.

The position is a 0-2+ month assignment with standard supervised workflow and adherence to safety and quality policies. Prior experience in warehousing and distribution is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or local equivalent.
• 3 years experience in storing and material handling.

Responsibilities

• Move materials physically using handcarts or forklifts.
• Select parts/products for shipments with accurate IDs and quantities.
• Receive/issue material requisitions from internal/external departments.
• Create and maintain inventory records.
• Maintain packing/shipping files accurately.
• Notify personnel of shipping/inventory discrepancies.
• Fill kits and deliver to production as needed.
• Maintain stocking and inventory objectives.
• Support cycle counts.
• Assist in training new hires.
• Comply with EHS & Quality System regulations and policies.
• Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

Job description

Duration: 0-2+ Months. Shift: 8am –4: 30pm, Lunch (in minutes): 30 min. Loads and unloads material within a warehouse or storage facility. Utilizes hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment. May require a high school diploma with 0-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Executes the receiving, storing, picking, staging and distribution of materials required for assembly/manufacture of product.

Key responsibilities/essential functions include:

• Perform physical movement of materials from one area to another using handcarts or fork lifts
• Picks parts/products for shipments ensuring accuracy of identification and quantity
• Physically and systemically receive/issue individual material requisitions from internal and external departments
• Create and/or maintain transactional inventory records
• Maintain accurate files of packing and shipping activity
• Communicate/notify appropriate personnel of shipping/inventory discrepancies
• Fill kits and deliver to production as required
• Maintain stocking/inventory objectives
• Quantifies and verifies cycle count
• May assist in training new hires
• Comply with EHS & Quality System regulations and policies
• Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

Required Qualifications:
