Job summary

Ferrara is hiring a Material Handler to move raw materials, parts, and finished products between production areas and warehouses. You will deliver items to the assembly line using equipment, monitor inventories, and keep work areas tidy to meet safety and quality requirements.

The role requires reading and basic math, English communication, and the ability to operate PIVs. Expect a Monday–Thursday 6:00AM–4:30PM schedule with occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Read, write, comprehend and verbally communicate in English.
• Capable of operating any Power Industrial Vehicle (PIV) (Testing Required).
• Attention to detail
• Willing to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing
• Good hand eye coordination

Responsibilities

• Delivers parts to production areas in a timely manner.
• Counts material, equipment, or supplies and reports totals or updates inventories.
• Prepares lists of depleted items as well as defective or unusable items.
• Follows safety protocols and reports incidents to supervisor.
