Quanex is looking for a Material Handler-2

Shift to join our team located in Winnebago IL.

Shift is responsible for working as part of a team, moving materials in and out of the facility in a safe, timely and efficient manner, while focusing on meeting the needs of both internal and external customers.

What Success Looks Like :

  • Adheres to established safety guidelines.
  • Receives and stocks finished goods.
  • Issues raw materials to production.

  • Scans finished goods and raw materials with RF scanner, verifying all information.
  • Willing to cross train and work with other team members as needed.
  • Performs Cycle counts.
  • Assists with various production operations as needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 2 years’ experience driving electric and / or propane forklifts; forklift certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload.
