Akima Facilities Operations (AFO) is seeking a hands-on Facilities Associate to load/unload, move and arrange materials, furniture and equipment on site. You will assist other craftsmen, maintain cleanliness of work areas, and contribute to safety program adherence across projects.

Responsibilities include heavy lifting up to 80 lbs, operating basic moving equipment, and following safety and health rules. On-site work with opportunities for growth and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass background checks and/or drug test.
• Willing to obtain and maintain a valid Class B CDL if required by management.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and work in inclement weather.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Ability to receive a security clearance for access to SECRET materials.

Responsabilités

• Loads and unloads trucks, containers, and moves supplies to proper location using hand truck, pallet jack, forklift or wheelbarrow.
• Stacks materials for storage or binning and collects material for reuse, recycle or disposal.
• Moves and arranges furniture, equipment, and appliances.
• Assists other craftsmen in daily duties as needed.
• Cleans interior and exterior work areas, equipment and tools.
• Performs heavy manual work up to 80 pounds and loads/unloads furniture or equipment.
• Supports the project Safety Plan and PPE compliance.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Adheres to all safety and health rules and regulations.
