Job summary

Maguire Iron is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator and Material Handler to support fabrication and shipping operations in Sioux Falls, SD. The role emphasizes safety when moving oversized materials with various equipment, including forklifts and cranes.

Responsibilities include staging materials, loading trucks, maintaining inventory, and keeping yards in order. A high school diploma or GED and prior heavy equipment experience are required, with a strong safety mindset preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a range of equipment from skid steers to forklifts and skid loaders to stage and move materials.
• Ensure production bays have materials needed to keep production moving.
• Operate overhead cranes.
• Load and unload materials from semi-trailers.
• Receive and store materials and maintain yard and inventory.
• Maintain a clean and organized stock area and use inventory system.
