Job summary

DuPont’s Midland, MI site is hiring immediately for entry level Material Handler roles. You will be responsible for the safe and timely reception, loading, transport, and storage of raw materials, packaging, and other supplies, and for packaging finished product and obtaining samples for laboratory testing.

This position operates on a rotating 12-hour shift, with overtime and holiday work. Must have a High School diploma or GED, a valid US driver’s license, and be able to lift up to 55 lbs while

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• A valid US driver’s license.
• Willing to work a 12-hour shift on a rotating schedule including holidays.
• Willing to work overtime, sometimes on short notice.
• Able to wear PPE and lift up to 55 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Package and label finished product per work instructions.
• Obtain required samples of finished product during packaging operations for laboratory testing.
• Operate a fork truck to receive and stage raw materials, packaging, and other supplies.
• Properly dispose of waste materials.
• Observe safety procedures and protocols.
