Job summary

Crown Holdings, Inc. in Toledo, Ohio is seeking a Material Handler to support production on the coil coating line. The role involves moving raw materials, staging coils, and assisting with shipping while adhering to safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have basic computer and mechanical skills, be able to lift 50 lbs, and be willing to work off shifts and overtime. Prior forklift experience and a high school diploma are preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• Strong mechanical skills.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work in a non-temperature-controlled environment.
• Willing to work off shifts and overtime, including weekends.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing/production environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily inspection of forklifts and ensure safe operation.
• Supply the line with raw material using FIFO and move finished product to shipping.
• Weigh and empty scrap hoppers, drums and totes at the line.
• Stage coils for coil pack and check damage skids and paperwork.
• Operate forklift and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Participate in safety trainings and follow procedures.
