Job summary

Congruex SCI is seeking a Materials Handler to join our construction team in the field. The role emphasizes organization, timeliness, accuracy and safety, with duties including material orders, inventory tracking in yard and shop, staging and delivering to sites, and forklift operations.

Candidates should have a CDL-A, be able to work outside in all conditions, possess good computer skills, and demonstrate GRIT values.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A Driver License is required.
• Able to work in outdoor temperatures and conditions.
• Must have great computer skills.
• A positive can-do attitude and openness to trying new ways.
• GRIT values – Guts, Reliability, Innovation, and Teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Orders materials and tools as needed or as requested.
• Tracks inventory on all material and tools in the yard and shop (manually and in the computer).
• Stage and/or deliver materials to job sites.
• Loads and unloads trucks with a forklift.
• Assists in any other assigned tasks as required.
• Ability to operate a forklift and backhoe safely.
• Ability to effectively talk to employees, vendors, supervisors, customers, manufacturers, etc.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions when buying materials/parts/tools.
• Helping Manager with any other duties as needed.
