Job summary

Reading Truck Group in Reading, PA is seeking a Material Handler to complete orders by retrieving and moving materials, and to accurately complete the required paperwork.

You will use pallet jacks and forklifts to support production lines, inspect equipment, and verify counts and locations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of pallet jacks, forklifts and dollies is a plus though not a requirement

Responsibilities

• Complete orders by retrieving and moving materials using a hand truck or Powered Tow Motor
• Inspect forklift daily at the start of shift ensuring all safety features are operational
• Safe operation of forklift when moving materials throughout the facility
• Assure that all materials are handled to prevent damage
• Scan receipts, issues to lines, returns, and bar code locations
• Verify counts and descriptions of products and materials
• Deliver product and components to production lines as requested
