Job summary

J.B. Poindexter & Co., Inc. is seeking a Material Handler in Reading, PA to complete orders by retrieving and moving materials and to accurately complete the required paperwork associated with material movement.

You will operate hand trucks and forklifts, inspect equipment at shift start, and move products safely to production lines while preventing damage.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of pallet jacks, forklifts and dollies is a plus though not a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Complete orders by retrieving and moving materials to the correct lines.
• Inspect forklift daily at shift start and ensure safety features work.
• Move materials safely to prevent damage and scan locations.
• Verify quantities and descriptions during receipts and shipments.
• Support production lines by delivering products and components.
