• Familiarity with shipping practices and handling methods.
• Forklift certified.

Responsibilities

• Receives, locates, and transfers materials accurately and timely.
• Opens containers using hand tools; counts and weighs materials.
• Identifies damaged materials and records shortages.
• Loads/unloads materials onto containers; uses tools as needed.
• Transports materials to designated areas using appropriate equipment.
• Assists machine operators by lifting objects as needed.
• Stacks and assembles materials.
• Maintains a safe, clean working environment.
• Participates in quality improvement efforts.
• Operates forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Performs required administrative tasks and reports.
