Job summary

IPG Photonics is seeking a Material Handler to receive, move, store, pick, package, label and distribute materials across the Oxford, MA facility. This entry‑level role supports production by ensuring materials are available when needed and inventory is tracked accurately.

You will follow work orders and safety procedures, operate forklifts when certified, maintain a clean workspace, and contribute to on‑time shipping and overall efficiency in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Prior manufacturing/warehouse/stock handling preferred.
• Skills: read/work orders, basic data entry, inventory counts.
• Certifications: forklift certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Receive, move, store, pick, package, label and distribute materials.
• Follow work orders and production schedules.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and traceability.
• Operate forklifts or pallet jacks when certified.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and comply with policies.
