Job summary

1-800-FLOWERS.COM, INC is seeking a Materials Handler Assembly for 2nd shift to support production lines by assembling trays, lids, and gift orders for expedited processing. You will palletize, load, and prepare orders with attention to quality and safety.

Responsibilities include stacking pallets, sorting by SKU, ensuring SQF guidelines are followed, and maintaining dependable attendance on a fast-paced shift environment.

• Perform other duties and works in other departments as assigned
• Adhere to all SQF (Safe Quality Foods) guidelines
• Maintain reasonable and reliable attendance

POSITION SUMMARY:

Material Handlers provide general labor support to production and pack on demand lines or other areas by assembling trays, lids, feed tapers, palletizing and configuring gift orders for expedited processing of customer orders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONIBIILITIES:

• Build pallets according to storage specifications ensuring pallet pattern meets all requirements.
• Ensure quality assurance and vendor compliance specifications are met.
• Physically stack and unstack pallets
