Job description

Note: Training will be completed on the 1st shift, with at least 3 weeks of training on equipment and processes.

Hours for 2nd shift: 3:00 - 11:30

Responsibilities
  • Safely operate stand-up reach trucks, stand-up order pickers, and sit-down forklifts in high traffic areas and narrow aisles.
  • Inspect moving equipment daily.
  • Unload and receive production materials physically and record in the SAP system.
  • Count and verify incoming materials in the storeroom.
  • Pick materials for inside and outside customers using RF scanners with count accuracy.
  • Perform daily cycle counts of materials in the storeroom.
  • Pack and ship materials efficiently and damage-free.
  • Load materials for outgoing shipments, ensuring proper documentation for drivers.
  • Use small hand tools, batteries, electrical, and air power tools effectively.
  • Adhere to developed processes and seek improvements.
  • Follow all safety rules, prioritizing safety for self and others.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to lift parts or sub-assemblies weighing up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to perform job duties safely with a sense of urgency.
  • Attention to detail while working to deadlines.
  • Positive attitude, good teamwork, and receptiveness to constructive criticism.
Preferred
  • Over 1 year experience in material management or warehousing.
  • Over 1 year experience operating forklifts.
  • Experience with SAP system.
  • Experience with RF scanner devices.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Associate’s Degree or technical training related to the role.
