Responsibilities
- Safely operate stand-up reach trucks, stand-up order pickers, and sit-down forklifts in high traffic areas and narrow aisles.
- Inspect moving equipment daily.
- Unload and receive production materials physically and record in the SAP system.
- Count and verify incoming materials in the storeroom.
- Pick materials for inside and outside customers using RF scanners with count accuracy.
- Perform daily cycle counts of materials in the storeroom.
- Pack and ship materials efficiently and damage-free.
- Load materials for outgoing shipments, ensuring proper documentation for drivers.
- Use small hand tools, batteries, electrical, and air power tools effectively.
- Adhere to developed processes and seek improvements.
- Follow all safety rules, prioritizing safety for self and others.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift parts or sub-assemblies weighing up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to perform job duties safely with a sense of urgency.
- Attention to detail while working to deadlines.
- Positive attitude, good teamwork, and receptiveness to constructive criticism.
Preferred
- Over 1 year experience in material management or warehousing.
- Over 1 year experience operating forklifts.
- Experience with SAP system.
- Experience with RF scanner devices.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Associate’s Degree or technical training related to the role.
