The Opportunity

You will be part of the JBT Marel poultry division, located in Russellville, AR, manufacturing our C.A.T. brand of chillers, injectors, pumps, and plant monitoring and weighing systems for primary processing.

As our Material Handler, reporting to the Fabrication Supervisor, you will perform manual tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials, along with other manual duties as needed.

On any given day, you may:

• Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, ensure equipment is in working order, and oversee yard cleanliness
• Receive and unload incoming materials, verifying shipment accuracy against purchase orders
• Inspect shipments for damage or defects, record discrepancies, and notify relevant personnel
• Be cross-trained in other job functions based on capacity requirements
• Communicate effectively within a team environment
• Follow oral and written instructions and complete tasks within labor standards
• Adhere to all safety policies and internal procedures
• Maintain acceptable housekeeping practices in the work area

Knowledge and Skills/Experience

High School Diploma or GED required. Ability to work well within a team and interact positively with co-workers.
