Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Stockroom/Warehouse Associate to support material movements and inventory control. You will use RF scanners and perform ERP transactions to move materials to production areas and support production schedules.

Responsibilities include bin management, FIFO maintenance, returning unused materials to stock, cycle-counts, and ensuring accurate paperwork. Strong basic PC skills and warehouse experience recommended. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to operate a personal computer including using a Windows based operating system and related software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the movement of material to manufacturing areas to support production schedules.
• Physically and systematically execute material movements involving replenishment to manufacturing areas.
• Move materials to areas outside manufacturing processes (shipping, parts prep, offices).
• Utilize RF scanners for ERP transactions.
• Operate material handling equipment as needed.
• Maintain organization of bin management and FIFO maintenance.
• Return unused materials to stock from manufacturing areas using RF.
• Properly dispose of scrap components.
• Pull material for purges from stock as needed.
• Perform warehouse cycle-counts where appropriate.
• Verify material movements and paperwork for accuracy.
