Job summary

Exline, Inc is seeking an Internal Material Handler to coordinate and transport material, travelers, tooling, and WIP across the manufacturing and repair facility. You will ensure proper staging, prioritize according to production, and move items between machines and buildings to support on-time delivery.

You will partner with production planning, machining, repair, quality, and shipping to maintain continuous workflow, minimize downtime, and ensure priority jobs are available when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred as stated in the qualifications.
• Ability to read job travelers, work orders, routing sheets, and production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials, components, tooling, and WIP throughout the facility and between buildings.
• Monitor job status and move jobs to the next operation to prevent delays.
• Stage priority jobs at designated machines according to production schedules.
• Coordinate with supervisors, planners, machinists, and quality personnel to maintain efficient workflow.
• Identify and eliminate bottlenecks, shortages, or delays impacting production.
• Maintain organization of WIP storage areas and material flow routes.
• Verify travelers and routing documentation accompany work throughout the process.
• Ensure completed operations are delivered to inspection, machining, assembly, or shipping.
