Job summary

Flex in Dallas, Texas is seeking a Materials Coordinator to support production by coordinating and expediting material flow. You will report to the Planning Supervisor and work Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM to ensure schedules are met.

You will track material availability, update ERP with statuses and ETAs, and communicate issues to project managers. Prior experience in manufacturing helps.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in warehouse/manufacturing settings is required.
• 1+ years in planning, customer service, production, inventory, logistics, or expediting.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
• MRP/ERP experience preferred and useful.
• Typing speed around 120 WPM is preferred.
• Bilingual abilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Buyers and Planners to meet material needs.
• Follow up with vendors on lead times and ETA tracking.
• Resolve shortages with purchasing and engineering.
• Update material status and ETAs in the ERP system.
• Inform project and production managers of issues affecting production.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
