Job summary

GE HealthCare in Salt Lake City is seeking a Material Handler to receive, inspect, store and distribute materials for manufacturing. You will help ensure accurate stocking and timely availability of parts to support assembly and production.

The role requires basic math, good communication, and the ability to lift and move materials all day; prior forklift experience is preferred. You will work within the Quality System and EHS guidelines, participate in cycle counts and inventory audits, and

Qualifications

High school Diploma/GED or local equivalent.
Ability to read, write and speak English.
Proficient in basic mathematics.
Ability to communicate well and work with others.

Responsibilities

Execute receiving, inspection, disposition, storing, using, staging and distribution of materials for assembly/manufacturing.
Perform cycle counts, physical inventories, audits, and discrepancy reconciliation; report issues to supervisor.
Move materials within designated areas using handcarts, forklifts, or other approved equipment.
Coordinate with warehousing and logistics partners to support storage, replenishment, and availability.
Read and follow work instructions, bills of materials, and standard operating procedures.
