Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking a Material Handler in Salt Lake City to execute receiving, inspection, disposition, storage, staging, and distribution of materials for assembly/manufacturing. You will use forklifts and other approved equipment to move materials and support logistics with on-site partners.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to prevent shortages.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or local equivalent.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Proficient in basic mathematics.
• Ability to communicate well and work with others.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, disposition, store, and distribute materials for manufacturing.
• Move materials using handcarts, forklifts, or approved equipment.
• Coordinate with warehousing and logistics partners for storage and availability.
• Perform cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain documentation for tracking and distribution of regulated materials.
• Support training of new hires as needed.
• Comply with EHS and Quality System requirements.
• Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.
