Join our team as a Materials Engineer Spring and Summer Co-op on the Advanced Operations Engineering Team in Cedar Rapids, IA, where you'll apply Materials Engineering concepts in a research and development lab for building electronic assemblies for Aerospace Applications. You would need to take the fall semester off. Your focus will be on improving materials and processes used in manufacturing and developing new processes prior to production implementation at sites around the world.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work with senior engineers in Materials Engineering for building ruggedized electronics. Located onsite in Cedar Rapids, IA, you'll play a crucial role in executing designs of experiments and root cause analysis in a lab environment. The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective‑bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
