Job summary

Net2Source (N2S) seeks a Materials Engineer in Oshkosh, WI to support weld analysis, failure analysis, and materials evaluation. You will work with processing and testing labs, perform environmental testing, and contribute to new product qualifications.

Responsibilities include writing technical reports, communicating results, maintaining lab equipment, and ensuring compliance with ISO 17025. Bachelor degree required; 3+ years in welding, casting, forging or related metalworking fields; CWI

Qualifications

Accredited Bachelor's degree in Materials Science Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering.
3+ years of related experience in welding, failure analysis or materials evaluation.
CWI certification (renewal possible) or related welding/inspection experience.

Responsibilities

Support failure analysis and materials evaluation for metallic and non-metallic materials.
Perform material/process evaluations, environmental testing, and new product qualifications.
Communicate results in written and oral technical reports.
Maintain and operate the Materials and Process Laboratory in good condition.
Ensure compliance with ISO/17025 quality management system.
Interface with external analysis labs and stakeholders.
