Job summary

Acuren in Magnolia, TX is seeking an Engineer II - Test Engineer to contribute to diverse engineering projects on site. You will solve moderately complex problems across design, materials, mechanical, or structural domains with supervision and grow toward greater independence.

Responsibilities include collecting client information, scoping projects, delivering cost estimates, conducting studies, drafting reports, and providing professional customer service to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Materials, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering.
• At least two years of engineering experience.
• Familiarity with logic-based programming.
• Ability to learn new programming languages.
• Proficient with 3D modelling software (SolidWorks preferred) and fabrication drawings.
• Preferred experience with pressurization equipment and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Collect information from clients, prepare project scopes and plans and deliver cost estimates.
• Conduct studies and generate observations and data as required by project plan.
• Develop draft reports and work with Technical Experts to finalize for client delivery.
• Deliver professional customer service with various stakeholders, internal and external.
• Other work duties as assigned.
