Job summary

Acuren is seeking a Materials Engineer (Engineer II) for an on-site role in Magnolia, Texas. The position focuses on solving complex material engineering problems under general supervision and developing advanced skills with greater independence.

The engineer will collect project information, perform studies, deliver data, and prepare client-ready reports while maintaining high standards of customer service with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in Materials Engineering.
• Requires a Bachelors or Masters degree in Materials Engineering and PE designation.
• Experience with lab equipment such as FTIR, TGA, DSC and SEM.

Responsibilities

• Collect information from clients, prepare project scopes and plans and deliver cost estimates.
• Conduct studies and generate observations and data as required by project plan.
• Develop draft reports and work with Technical Experts to finalize for client delivery.
• Deliver exceptional professional customer service with various industrial companies and stakeholders.
• Other work duties as assigned.
