Job summary

U.S. Fusion Energy is seeking a Materials Test Engineer to own lab workstreams by designing and running campaigns for insulation systems and leading failure investigations.

You will translate experimental data into design recommendations and mentor lab technologists on test methods. Requirements include a Bachelor's or Master's in Materials Science, Polymer Science, or a related engineering field, and 3+ years of hands-on experience with materials characterization and failure analysis of
