Sun Country Airlines in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Materials Coordinator I to manage the flow of aircraft parts and related materials in support of Sun Country Maintenance activities. You will handle shipping, receiving, stocking, issuing, cycle counting, and proper disposal while ensuring inventory accuracy.

This full-time, non-exempt role involves a 12-hour day or evening shift on a four-days-on/four-days-off schedule, requiring English literacy, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Must be able to obtain MSP SIDA badge.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Very good oral and written communication and problem-solving skills.
• Uniform is required, provided by SCA.
• Ability to work a variety of hours including weekdays and weekends. This position works a shift schedule, 12-hour day or evening shift, rotating four days on and four days off; subject to change based on operational requirements. Shifts are assigned by bid process and awarded based on seniority.
• Two years of previous experience with inventory control and warehouse operations

Responsibilities

• Ship all outgoing materials and file shipping paperwork, including hazardous shipments.
• Receive all incoming materials.
• Monitor loans, borrows, and exchanges; ensure cores meet contract return requirements.
• Communicate order receiving discrepancies to the Buyer/Repair Coordinator.
• Issue materials to maintain inventory accuracy per policy.
• Tag and identify returned parts as serviceable or unserviceable.
• Perform cycle counts.
• Return parts to stock per policy and procedures.
• Administer material allocations to outstations, fly-away kits, COMAT, and off-site storage.
• Ensure proper storage to prevent damage and contamination.
• Remove expired shelf-life items monthly.
• Maintain SDS files with current revisions.
• Perform tasks safely and in compliance with regulations and policies.
