Job summary

Providence Swedish in Seattle is seeking a Warehouse/Inventory Clerk to manage inventories, replenish supply areas, receive stock, and deliver items to departments with high accuracy.

The role requires familiarity with MMIS and warehouse operations; prior healthcare distribution experience preferred; on-site, full-time schedule with opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

• 1 year of inventory systems, receiving, warehousing and/or supply distribution using a MMIS in a perpetual inventory system within the last 3 years
• Healthcare environment experience preferred
• Experience with material handling equipment (hand trucks, pallet jack, etc)

Responsibilities

Job Description

Utilizes a computerized MMIS (Materials Management Information System) and associated hardware / software, to conduct physical inventories, replenishment of supply areas (such as patient care and ancillary areas), receive incoming stock and non-stock freight and parcel shipments, and put away inventory items. Prepares and coordinates outgoing parcel and freight shipments. This position is also responsible for processing fax, phone, electronic order entry, and walk up supply requests in the MSC. Enters data into the MMIS in order to inventory, pick, deliver, and stock products associated with the aforementioned functions, all with a high level of accuracy to ensure accountability for all products and equipment in the MSC (Materials Service Center). Delivers stock and non-stock products, and packages to the appropriate department / areas.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Inventory and supply distribution management courses
• Experience in a healthcare environment

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
