Job summary

NOV Tuboscope is seeking a procurement specialist to coordinate material procurement and inventory support for multiple U.S. manufacturing facilities.

You will build strong relationships with vendors, procurement teams, and plant leadership to ensure timely delivery and accurate records. The role requires a high school diploma and proficiency with JD Edwards ERP alongside Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience with JD Edwards ERP system preferred.
  • Experience procuring common steel grades preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate material procurement and inventory support for multiple U.S. manufacturing facilities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, procurement teams, and plant leadership.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials while maintaining accurate documentation and inventory records.
  • Support compliance with NOV policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Comply with all NOV HSE, HR, and company policies and procedures.
  • Process vendor RFQs and evaluate supplier responses.
  • Review Material Test Reports (MTRs) and determine material acceptance or rejection.
  • Create vendor requisitions and obtain required approvals.
  • Coordinate with Procurement to create purchase orders and issue POs to vendors.
  • Communicate with vendors regarding order status and delivery schedules.
  • Process receiving documentation and maintain accurate records in accordance with company procedures.
  • Receive, unload, and organize Material Test Reports for storage and inventory tracking.
  • Source and procure materials to support multiple division facilities across the United States.
  • Assist Plant Managers with material requests and procurement needs.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and support inventory control activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Duties
