Job summary

Air Products is seeking a Material Handler in Leetsdale, PA. In this role, you will pick and prepare parts for shipment, manage material reservations and utilize SAP for Stock Transfer Orders.

Job description

Location: Leetsdale, PA (Pittsburgh area)

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

What You’ll Do

• Pick and prepare parts accurately for shipment
• Process material reservations and Stock Transfer Orders (STOs) in SAP
• Monitor shared inbox for urgent and priority requests
• Coordinate same-day and emergency shipments
• Receive, label, and accurately stock material
• Support Shipping & Receiving operations (cross‑trained role)
• Operate material handling equipment safely
• Maintain readiness to support critical needs, including on‑call rotation

What You Bring / Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2–5 years of material handling or logistics experience preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• SAP experience is a plus
• Ability to lift/move materials up to 50 lbs.
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Dependable, detail‑oriented, and team‑focused mindset
• Forklift certification (or ability to obtain shortly after hire)
