Job summary

Knapheide Truck Equipment Center in Acworth, GA is seeking a full-time Materials Coordinator to supply parts to the production area and ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. This position runs Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM with overtime as needed.

You will purchase required equipment and supplies, communicate with vendors, manage inventory stock levels, perform cycle counts, and coordinate with the team to resolve lead time issues.

Qualifications

• Experience with purchasing and inventory control in a manufacturing environment.
• Exposure to an MRP or equivalent business system is preferred.
• Forklift operation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Purchase required equipment and supplies.
• Communicate with vendors and maintain forecasted equipment arrival dates.
• Find solutions to equipment lead time issues.
• Manage inventory stock levels.
• Maintain on-site inventory organization.
• Conduct regular cycle counts.
• Complete 100% physical inventory annually.
• Load, unload and store equipment from transport trucks.
• Collaborate with team to discuss items, obstacles and lead times.

Day-to-day As a Materials Coordinator

• Purchase required equipment and supplies.
• Communicate with vendors and maintain forecasted equipment arrival dates.

Experience
