Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC is seeking a Materials Clerk for a large EPC project in the energy sector. The role involves managing shipment/receipt of project materials, inspecting items, and coordinating with field personnel, buyers, and suppliers on shipments and records.

Initial training will occur in Eagle Mountain, UT, with a long-term, full-time on-site position near Midland, TX. Travel and lodging are covered by QISG, and career growth opportunities exist across future

Qualifications

  • High school diploma (or equivalent) with 1+ years of relevant experience.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in construction EPC projects preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage shipment and receipt of project materials and supplies.
  • Receive, inspect, and count incoming materials against packing slips.
  • Coordinate with field personnel, buyers, suppliers on shipment and receipt.
  • Track status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Support other areas of Materials Management.
  • Verify contents against packing slips and purchase orders.
  • Unpack and store received items in designated locations.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments with pick tickets and documents.
  • Maintain inventory movement records with software.
  • Keep a clean, organized, safe work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Perform special projects as assigned.

About this Role

QISG is hiring a Materials Clerk to support a $250M, 286MW power generation EPC project.

Position Highlights:

  • Long-term project assignment near Midland, TX
  • Initial 2-month training period will be in Eagle Mountain, UT
  • This is a full-time, permanent QISG position with opportunities to transition to future projects after completion
  • Must be willing to workon project site
  • Travel and lodging expenses covered by QISG

General Description

The Materials Clerk is responsible for project materials receiving, reconciling item discrepancies with purchasing and suppliers, validating quality inspection, and compiling reports.

What You'll Do

Duties

  • Manages the shipment and receipt of project materials and supplies
  • Receive, inspect, and count incoming materials, verifying accuracy against packing slips and invoices
  • Collaborates and communicates with field personnel, materials coordinators, expeditors, buyers, suppliers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products
  • Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Provides support for other areas of Materials Management department
  • Verify shipment contents against packing slips and purchase orders
  • Unpack and store received items in designated locations
  • Prepare outgoing shipments by generating pick tickets and shipping documents
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all inventory movements
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Performs special projects and completes other duties as assigned or requested
What You'll Bring

Required Experience and Education

Preferred Experience and Education

  • High school diploma (or equivalent) and 1+ years of relevant experience
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of relevant experience

Relevant career experience in the construction industry and exposure to EPC projects in the electric power delivery sector is preferred

  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving experience with the ability to multi-task and apply a structured approach to complex situations
