PACCAR is seeking a Buyer to join the North America Materials team in Kirkland, WA or Denton, TX. You will place orders with suppliers for production material and work with cross-functional teams to meet schedules, while maintaining inventory levels.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 1-2 years of experience; APICS certifications CPIM/CIRM/CSCP are preferred. PACCAR offers strong benefits, a pension, 401k, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1-2 years of experience required.
• APICS certification CPIM/CIRM/CSCP preferred.
• Experience with Kanban and Lean Material Handling preferred.
• Strong PC skills: Excel, Tableau and word processing.

Responsibilities

• Place orders with suppliers for production material to be used in truck assembly across four plants.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Engineering and Suppliers to ensure on-time material deliveries.
• Determine production requirements for assigned parts groupings.
• Issue purchase orders to meet schedules and maintain inventory levels.
