Job Description And Duties

Under the supervision of a Staff Services Manager I and with lead guidance from a Materials and Stores Supervisor, the incumbent assists in the daily operations of the District 11 Warehouse. Responsibilities include receiving and storing materials, shipping, loading and unloading trucks, fulfilling orders, inventory management, space management, and maintaining a safe work environment. The incumbent uses Web-based Systems for ordering and stock inventory maintenance.

Working Conditions

Position located at 7181 Opportunity Road, San Diego. The work environment includes indoor warehouse conditions and outdoor activities, with exposure to dirt, noise, uneven surfaces, and extreme temperatures. A valid driver’s license is required for operating a State vehicle.
