Job summary

The role involves counting, weighing, and identifying incoming articles, storing items properly, and ensuring accuracy of inventory data. It requires basic math, a valid driver's license, and the ability to operate material handling equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Up to 3 years related experience or training.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to operate a forklift and overhead crane.

Responsibilities

• Issue orders from D02 warehouse; put-away and pick items.
• Compile data from receivers and work orders into inventory records.
• Count, sort, weigh, and identify incoming articles for receipt verification.
• Store articles in bins, on floor or shelves by material type.
• Mark identification codes on articles.
• Determine storage methods considering temp, weight limits, etc.
• Move material to other departments.
• Maintain accurate transaction records and inventory counts.
• Perform cycle counts.
• Protect and transport outside processing and finished goods to customers and vendors.
• Handle hazardous waste per policy.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

• Issueorders out of D02 warehouse (put-away, Baan transactions, physical pullingof orders to floor).
• Compilesdata from sources such as receivers and work orders and types or entersinformation into computer relevant to maintaining inventory.
• Counts,sorts, weighs, or identifies incoming articles to verify receipt of itemson receivers.
• Storesarticles in bins, on floor, or on shelves, according to identifyinginformation such as style, size, or type of material.
• Marksidentification codes, figures, or letters on articles.
• Determinesmethods of storage, identification, and stock location, consideringtemperature, humidity, height and weight limits, turnover, floor loadingcapacities, and required space.
• Movesor transports material or supplies to other departments.
• Responsiblefor the accuracy of transaction recording and inventory informationincluding but not limited to counts and lot trace ability.
• Performscycle counts.
• Protects,packages and transports outside processing and finished goods to customersand vendors.
