Job summary

Time Staffing, Inc. is seeking a Material Technician in Shipping and Receiving for the 1st shift (7:00am - 3:30pm). The role focuses on accurate material flow, inventory control, and safe warehouse operations in a climate-controlled environment.

You will process incoming/outgoing freight, verify shipments, operate material handling equipment, and maintain orderly work areas to support production efficiency. Prior warehouse experience is preferred, and forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and report printing.
• Ability to read and interpret shipping instructions and production orders.
• Proficiency with weigh scales, label printers, and clerical supplies.
• Knowledge of FIFO inventory methods and stock location management.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical activities such as standing, walking, reaching, and grasping.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to work independently.

In this vital role, you will process incoming and outgoing freight, verify shipments, operate material handling equipment, and maintain an organized work environment that supports operational efficiency and safety.

Required Skills:
